A one-time flat fee, identical for SPL and Token-2022 tokens. It covers metadata hosting, your token page, and the creation infrastructure.
SOL the Solana network requires the new token accounts to hold. Rent goes to the network accounts your token needs, not to DexLab.
Paid in one transaction. The create page shows this exact total above the create button before you approve it in your wallet.
What Network Rent Actually Is
Every account on Solana must hold a minimum SOL balance, called a rent-exempt deposit, for validators to keep storing it. Creating a token creates several new accounts at once, and each one needs its own deposit. This is a Solana network requirement, so every token creator pays it no matter which tool they use.
Measured across real token creations on DexLab, the rent adds up to about 0.02 SOL: roughly 0.0151 SOL for the metadata account, 0.0020 SOL for your token account, 0.0015 SOL for the mint account, and 0.0012 SOL for a small tracking account. The Solana transaction fee itself is about 0.00001 SOL.
What DexLab Does Not Charge
No subscription
You pay once when the token is created. There is no recurring cost to keep the token alive.
No percentage of supply
The entire supply is minted to the wallet you choose. DexLab does not keep, tax, or skim any of your tokens.
No premium for Token-2022
The Token and Token 2022 tabs share the same 0.15 SOL creation fee, so you can pick the token standard your project actually needs.
No hidden costs at signing
The exact total appears above the create button before you sign, and one wallet approval covers everything.
What Affects the Total Cost
Supply and decimals: no effect
A supply of one thousand costs the same as one billion. Rent depends on the size of the accounts, not on the numbers stored inside them.
SPL or Token-2022: no effect on the fee
Both standards share the same 0.15 SOL creation fee on DexLab.
Mint and freeze authorities: no effect
Keeping an authority, removing it at creation, or removing it later does not change the price of creating the token.
What you do afterwards: optional extras
Creating a liquidity pool or airdropping tokens comes with its own costs, listed below. Neither is required to create the token.
The SOL price: sets the USD equivalent
The cost is fixed in SOL, so the amount in US dollars moves with the market. Multiply about 0.17 SOL by the current SOL price for the USD figure at the moment you create.
Optional Costs After Creation
Creating a liquidity pool
DexLab does not charge a flat fee to create a liquidity pool. You pay Solana network rent for the new pool accounts and deposit the initial liquidity yourself, and that liquidity remains yours as your liquidity position. The fee tier you select, from 0.1% to 2%, is a trading fee charged on swaps inside the pool, not a creation charge.
